YOUR
PLANET
The Earth and the
creatures upon her
are a beautiful
reflection of the
sanctity of
existence.
We are part of a
grand cycle and
circle of life and
we must appreciate
and acknowledge our
place in it. By
manipulating our
place in the grand
cycle to dominate
all living things
will only lead to
our own demise as
well as of course
the demise of those
around us.
The ancient saying
of nurturing the
planet so that it
remains a beautiful
place to live for
your children seven
generations later,
is no longer
relevant. For the
planet has been
abused to the point
where our own
children (just one
generation) may be
unable to live on
it.
Taking
responsibility
towards the planet
must come from a
place where we begin
to understand the
true nature of what
this planet gives us
on a daily level -
food, shelter and
air to name but a
few necessities.
As we begin to
respect the ground
that we walk upon,
we begin to become
aware that this
beautiful planet
isn't for us to use
and abuse. Thus, it
is our
responsibility as
the most sentient
species to become
Guardians for the
planet and all life
upon it. |

"The frog does
not drink up the pond in which he lives"
Native American proverb
Our role in the dysfunction of the planet's
atmospheric and climatic harmony is a grand shame that reflects our ignorance. However, there is still hope.
The world around us
is slowly beginning to wake up to the realities of our involvement in the
planet's slow destruction.

PROTECTION
- ABUSE OF RESOURCES |

Pollution and exhaustion of natural resources are destroying the planet on a
grand level. However, all change begins at home, all change begins with the
small. There are many methods we can help re-balance this planet by committing
to reducing the amount of waste we use in our daily lives.

Whilst
humans may (arguably) be the most sentient species on the planet, this level of
advancement and progress must come with a level of responsibility to those
around us that also use the same planet as their home.

As we
move out of our nature of power, control, greed and ownership we recognise that
we are irrevocably connected to all life. With our level of responsibility it is
important for us to work with animals and their cycles and not to dramatically
destroy them as we have persistently done.

Earth is an
incredible place of discovery - lest we forget. As we evolve as a species, so
does our technology. However, we have become overdependence upon certain
technologies that served an older, ignorant era. Our reliance upon fossil fuels
has created an economical and
political dependence that leaves nations unwilling
to try alternative methods of creating energy. As the saying goes: "Those who
own the oil, own the world."
However, the planet
harbours an infinite array of discoveries regarding creating energy. As we put
more of our energy into this arena, more discoveries will be made. How can you
help? As always, it is the people that buy the petrol, that consume fossil fuels
that allow nations and corporations to hold onto this method of energy. The more
we slowly divert our own purchases and actions away, the more society will
reflect this in our outer reality.
